All praise the gods of crafted hops. On a Friday in late October 2019, owner Brett Standerwick opened Craft Fare's doors on Commercial Street in the heart of downtown Nanaimo, and became an instant magnet for craft beer newbs and afficionadoes alike. Craft Fare curates and pours sixteen rotating taps of local and regional brew.

Craft beer pros and initiates branching out beyond immediately local offerings scene can now sip and savor a nice range of micro-brewed draughts. With sixteen rotating choices, it's probable there'll be something on tap that works for you...

Short, creative but simple menu, just the way we like it...

Our favorites:  Baked Mac & Cheese. And their charcuterie plate.

Bartender and servers are friendly, attentive, and happy to let you taste anything. In warmer, dryer weather, Craft Fare has sidewalk and parklet deck seating, taking back some of the street for bipeds. Otherwise, you can pull up a stool or chair inside, and enjoy the venue's great interior lighting, tile- and woodwork, and stylish washrooms.
